Are you content with your CONTENT? (see what I did there ?) It’s #WebsiteWednesday…you care? You should. I want to touch on your website’s content a little. ⠀ ⠀ It’s one of THE MOST crucial parts of your website. You should always find ways to create new QUALITY content. ⠀ ⠀ ✋?✋?BEFORE YOU HIT PUBLISH???? ⠀ ⠀ Ask yourself these 4 things:⠀ ⠀ 1. Is my content relevant to my readers? What value am I adding?⠀ ⠀ 2. How many words is my content? According to Google 1,000 + is good.⠀ ⠀ 3. Am I using too much industry jargon? Use terminology familiar to your readers or your readers won’t know what the hell you’re talking about.⠀ ⠀ 4. Did I check my spelling and grammar? I know it sounds elementary, but you’d be surprised at the mistakes made in 2017. No one will trust you if your website is full of bad grammar.⠀ ⠀ These are only a few things that came to mind today, there are tons! ⠀ ⠀ And…dont forget old content, always go back and improve your meta descriptions + title tags.⠀ ⠀ Always…ALWAYS make sure your content is relevant making sure you always put your visitor’s needs first. ⠀ ⠀ Did you miss yesterday’s post?
